Clarity Act Update

It appears that the first ethics addition wasn't good enough for democrats. This morning they've come to another bipartisan version of the ethics language and it's off to Trump to get his support.

It could come up for a vote very soon, but I don't think it will get the 60 votes to pass.

Price has not meaningfully moved to price in any success. I still think it fails this year, but succeeds next year with greater majorities in the House and Senate for conservatives.

There's an asymmetry in bitcoin's favor. Defeat is never final, but winning is. Sure, leftists could win in 2028, but it will never be able to be completely undone.

Sideways Hides Bullish Tilt

This last few weeks have been incredibly flat. I have been watching the $67k level as the signal the bull market is back. The move after $67k is broken is up to $82k pretty quickly.

The brightest spot right now in the bitcoin investment complex is coming for Stretch STRC. Strategy bought back some STRC this week, and it's currently trying to break back above $90.

The implied dividend on STRC at $90 is 13.3%. Officially, on the $100 par value, the dividend is 12%.

As for the bitcoin price, it's holding desperately onto the 50-day MA. So far so good. I recently pointed out the rising channel (not shown) and the breakdown from it. Once the channel broke odds of returning to the lows increased. But as price is now holding the 50 pretty well, the chance of new lows has diminished.
